Donnie Carter was convicted of the murder of Earl Cooper and sentenced to life imprisonment.1 We affirm.

Cooper and Carter were migrant workers who lived in the same trailer. On the morning of the murder, Carter told a fellow worker he was upset with Cooper because Cooper had slapped him the night before and earlier that morning. One witness testified that he walked past...
