Petitioner pro se Lloyd Pendleton ("Pendleton") filed this petition for a writ of habeas corpus on July 1, 1986. The petition was originally dismissed for failure to plead exhaustion of state remedies, but that dismissal was set aside by order of December 12, 1986 upon Pendleton's submission, through the Pro Se Office, of a more detailed petition alleging that he had exhausted state remedies.
