The judgment appealed from arises out of the failure to notify a patient of an x-ray report that suggested an early cancerous condition of the lungs and the related failure to treat the developing cancer for almost a year. We reject the appellant hospital's challenge to the sufficiency of the evidence of its liability, but agree with the hospital's contention that it was entitled to a credit as a result of the patient's settlement with her...
