MAUS, Judge.

Count I of an information charged the defendant with robbery in the first degree, § 569.020.1(3). Count II charged the defendant with attempted kidnapping, §§ 564.011 and 565.110. A jury found him guilty on each count and assessed his punishment for robbery at imprisonment for life and for attempted kidnapping at imprisonment for seven years.
