LANSING, Judge.
Allen McKissic appeals his conviction and sentence for second degree assault, contending the state failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he had not acted in self-defense; that he was deprived of his right to a fair trial by the admission of evidence obtained as a result of his unconstitutional detention; and that the trial court should have departed dispositionally or durationally from the mandatory minimum sentence.
