This is a suit for legal malpractice and damages arising out of a car accident. Plaintiffs, Maurice and Alice Wascom, sued their uninsured motorist carrier, State Farm Insurance Company, their original attorneys, Sam J. Dileo (Dileo) and Joseph W.P. Hecker (Hecker), Tangipahoa Parish and the State of Louisiana. Plaintiffs settled with and dismissed State Farm from the suit and the trial court sustained peremptory exceptions of prescription of one year...
