Julius Howard appeals his conviction of simple burglary.

Howard was arrested on September 24, 1984 and was charged with two counts of simple burglary (LSA-R.S. 14:62) of the Fiesta Club Lounge in Natchez, Louisiana on September 15, 1984. After some confusion in the two docket numbers was resolved, Howard pled guilty to one charge (docket number 90,884), and the State dismissed the other (docket number 85,979).
