The defendant, Michael Foster, was convicted in a jury trial of kidnapping in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-94, assault in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-61, and being an accessory to criminally negligent homicide in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-8 and 53a-58.
