DALY, J.

The defendant was tried by a jury in October, 1984. The trial resulted in a mistrial by virtue of a hung jury. In February, 1985, the defendant was again tried by a jury. He was convicted of robbery in the first degree, a violation of General Statutes § 53a-134.1 From the judgment rendered upon the conviction, the defendant has appealed.
