This appeal arises out of a vehicular collision. The record reflects that on April 17, 1984, plaintiff drove Lawrence Jones to Bunkie to rent a Jartran truck so that Jones could haul away lumber salvaged from plaintiff's nightclub in Mansura which had recently burned.
