The amended information in this case was in two separate parts. The first part contained two counts. The first count accused the defendant of kidnapping in the first degree and charged that he abducted another person with the intent to violate or abuse him sexually in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A). The second count charged him with attempted sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-49...
