The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether the trial court erred in restricting the scope of questioning during the voir dire examination of the potential jurors. The defendant, Herbert Dolphin, after a trial to a jury, was found guilty of robbery in the first degree and subsequently was found to be a persistent dangerous felony offender by a panel of three judges.
