KLEES, Judge.

Defendant, Essie Holmes, was charged with armed robbery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:64, and with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of La.R.S. 14:95.1. He was tried and convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to twenty (20) years at hard labor without the benefit of parole. The defendant later entered a guilty plea to the firearm possession charge. As a result of this guilty plea, he was sentenced to ten (10) years at hard labor...
