Patrick Gillette and the Labor and Industry Review Commission (LIRC) appeal from a judgment of the circuit court reversing a LIRC award of duty disability benefits to Gillette against his former employer, the Village of Random Lake. Gillette argues that LIRC's award should be reinstated. LIRC concedes that the circuit court properly vacated the award but argues that the court erred in remanding the matter...
