TAMILIA, Judge:

On July 18, 1979, appellant/Barr, while in the course of his employment, severed his hand on a paper cutting machine. A sheet metal guard for the machine had been manufactured and installed by J.C. Ayers and Company in 1973.

At the time of installation, Ayers had liability coverage including "Complete Operation" coverage with Insurance Company of North America. In 1975, Ayers' insurance coverage was transferred by George Cramer, a licensed...
