Plaintiff Jerry Guillory, Sr. filed suit against the employer and insurer of Donald Veals for injuries received in an accident on U.S. Highway 61 on June 15, 1983, when the tractor-trailer driven by Guillory was struck from the rear by the tractor-trailer operated by Veals.
