An experimental aircraft belonging to AMS/Air, Inc., was extensively damaged in a crash during the Reno, Nevada, National Championship Air Races. Albert Amatuzio and AMS/Air, Inc., brought an action to recover the face value of the policy, but the trial court found no coverage and granted summary judgment for the insurer.
