On March 18, 1986, Helmsman Management Services, Inc., a Massachusetts corporation and subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company ("Helmsman"), submitted a demand upon the defendant A & S Consultants, a Delaware corporation, ("A & S"), pursuant to 8 Del.C. § 220, to inspect certain of A & S's books and records.
