Defendant, Robert John Brita, was charged with two counts of manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault arising out of an automobile collision. Prior to his arrest, defendant was taken to a hospital, where a blood sample was drawn at a police officer's request for the purpose of testing blood alcohol content.
