Plaintiffs (landlords) sued defendants (tenants) to recover damages to leasehold premises in the amount of $16,563. Landlords withheld a security deposit in the amount of $1,000. After tenants vacated the premise, landlords failed to provide to tenants a written list of damages to the leasehold premises.
