Appellants Laurel Carpenter, Jean Sullivan and Marion Lingbeck sued respondent Joseph Vreeman to rescind a contract for deed and recover payments made under the contract. Appellants alleged that respondent represented the property as accessible by a town road, that these representations were false and material to the transaction, and that appellants suffered harm as a result of their reliance on the representations.
