The Sangamon County circuit court denied defendant's motion to suppress results of a breath-alcohol test, which showed defendant to be intoxicated. Subsequently, a jury found defendant guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-501), but not guilty of improper lane usage (Ill. Rev.
