Appellant, Gerald Holmquist, brought suit against the State of Minnesota to recover for injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident allegedly caused by the State's failure to warn of a dangerous condition on a highway. The trial court granted the State's motion for summary judgment concluding that because the State had no notice of the dangerous condition, it had no duty to warn.
