Brown, was found guilty by a jury of six in the Haverhill District Court of the crime of possession of a class D controlled substance (marihuana) with intent to distribute (G.L.c. 94C, § 32C) and sentenced to a term of one year in a house of correction, thirty days to be served, balance suspended, two years' probation.
