Defendant, Charles Johnny Upchurch, was indicted on the charge of manufacturing and possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine, in violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)1, and was convicted of one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and one count of manufacture of methamphetamine.
