Defendant, Johnny Curry Garner, was indicted for aggravated arson, a violation of La.R.S. 14:51. Pursuant to a plea agreement on June 10, 1986, defendant pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of simple arson, a violation of La.R.S. 14:52.
