Plaintiff filed suit against defendant alleging malicious prosecution resulting from the prosecution of Allison for unlawful concealment of two packs of cigarettes at the defendant's store. At the close of the plaintiff's evidence and at the close of all the evidence, defendant's motions for a directed verdict were denied. A $12,500 verdict was returned in favor of the plaintiff, and judgment was entered for the plaintiff in accordance with the jury...
