Subsequent to appellant Howard Nicholson's institutionalization for shooting respondent Cynthia Sawle's father and a friend of her father's, the parties' marriage was dissolved pursuant to a Wisconsin decree. Visitation was established for the parties' minor child. Respondent Sawle failed to comply with the provisions of visitation and eventually relocated from Arena, Wisconsin to Rochester, Minnesota.
