Kyle Allen Kleinpeter (plaintiff) filed suit against the State of Louisiana through the Department of Corrections (DOC) for injuries sustained while incarcerated at Hunt Correctional Institute (Hunt). Plaintiff was an inmate trusty and worked as a horse handler. He was injured while riding a horse at Hunt.
