Defendant was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (OUIL), MCL 257.625; MSA 9.2325. Following a jury trial in district court, defendant was convicted of driving while his ability was visibly impaired (DWI), MCL 257.625b; MSA 9.2325(2).
