This suit arose out of a dispute between two attorneys over the division of a contingency fee received as part of a settlement in a products liability suit. Both attorneys contracted jointly to represent the plaintiffs, but failed to agree as to the division of the attorneys' fee between themselves. The trial judge awarded fifty percent of the contingency fee, which was forty percent of the settlement, to plaintiff and defendant perfected...
