James Conley appeals a judgment convicting him of second-degree sexual assault, in violation of sec. 940.225(2)(e), Stats., and incest, in violation of sec. 944.06, Stats., and an order denying his motions for postconviction relief. The primary issue is whether the trial court denied Conley his federal and state constitutional rights of confrontation by placing a blackboard between Conley and his accuser when she testified against him at trial.
