BORDEN, J.

The dispositive issue in this case is whether the plaintiffs can maintain a cause of action in negligence against the defendants, a security company and its employee, where the employee left a key in the ignition of a company car which was subsequently stolen by a third party, who drove it to the plaintiff's store and, in the course of committing an armed robbery, assaulted the named plaintiff.
