Respondent Alfred Weintraub was admitted to practice in the Second Department on October 25, 1950. He has, however, maintained a law office within the First Department at all times relevant herein.

After an extensive hearing before a Departmental Disciplinary Hearing Panel, respondent was adjudged guilty of (1) failing in his capacity as escrow agent to exercise adequate control over his clients' escrowed...
