Following a jury trial, defendant Anthony Coleman was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 38, par. 12-14) and attempted armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 38, par. 8-4). He was sentenced to an extended term of 40 years' imprisonment with respect to the aggravated criminal sexual assault conviction and an extended term of 20 years...
