Defendant John Tillman was convicted by a jury of attempted burglary. The evidence adduced at trial shows that at the time of the incident the victim was at home recovering from a serious illness. Upon hearing unusual noises, she proceeded to conduct a room by room search of her house during the course of which she discovered the perpetrator standing in her bathroom. The bathroom window had been broken in and the bathroom floor was covered with glass...
