This is an appeal from the trial court's de novo hearing in which the court granted appellee Willard's petition for letters of administration on the estate of Jackie Wilson. The decedent, Jackie Wilson, was a renowned singer and entertainer. Wilson suffered a heart attack and stroke while performing in New Jersey on September 29, 1975 and remained comatose and incompetent from that date until his death on January 21, 1984.
