Appellant entered a plea of nolo contendere to a charge of criminal attempt to commit homicide in connection with the stabbing of his wife, Sandra Keeney, on June 23, 1985. On March 24, 1986, appellant was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of five (5) to ten (10) years.
