In this appeal we shall hold that the appellants, Michael E. Keane and Catherine Patricia Keane, have standing to recover damages under § 3-904(e)(1) of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article,1 for their mental anguish, emotional pain and suffering, and loss of solatium, resulting from the death of their son, Gregory Keane, who was killed in an automobile accident caused by the negligence of the appellees.
