This is an appeal from a judgment of the Court of Common Pleas of Franklin County.

The jury returned a general verdict in favor of plaintiffs Edward, Nancy and Gregory Highfield in the amount of $50,000. Plaintiffs contended at trial that the jurors should have been polled to determine whether the jury intended only to award total damages in the sum of $50,000.
