On March 5, 1981, Perry C. Cartwright, Sr., Frances M. Cartwright, and Southern Motors, Inc. leased an automobile dealership facility located near Bristol, Virginia, to Mullins Motors, Inc. The 10-year lease provided that repairs to the septic system were the responsibility of the landlord.
