The principal question presented on this appeal is whether a Small Business Administration (SBA) guaranty signed by defendant, Kenneth A. Gewertz, was meant to be "absolute and unconditional" and, if so, whether Gewertz could assert any claims in connection with the collateral pledged on the loan with respect to which he signed the guaranty.
