Defendant, Lawrence Daniels, was charged by information with unlawful use of weapons by a felon. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 38, par. 24-1.1(a).) A St. Clair County jury entered a verdict of guilty upon which judgment was entered.
