This action was initiated by plaintiff against Upper Darby Township for injuries sustained as a result of a slip and fall on an icy street in the township on February 8, 1985. At the conclusion of plaintiff's evidence as to liability in a jury trial before this court, defendant township's motion for a compulsory nonsuit was granted.
