This case involves the transfer of a business and the conveyance of a leasehold interest in the premises upon which the business operated. The lessor sued the lessee and the transferee of the lease for nonpayment of rent. The lessor also alleged that a property conveyance made by the lessee, which rendered the lessor unable to attach that property, was fraudulent.
