Some of the individual shareholders of the now defunct Protective American Life Insurance Company (PAL) appeal an order granting Richard Marquardt, the Washington State Insurance Commissioner and the Washington Life and Disability Insurance Guaranty Association (WLDIGA) summary judgment against all the shareholders of PAL for superadded liability and damages upon its liquidation.
