The sole issue raised in this appeal is whether the trial court committed error by denying defendant's request for a lesser included offense instruction on contributing to the delinquency of a minor, MCL 750.145; MSA 28.340, where defendant was tried on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520d(1)(b); MSA 28.788(4)(1)(b). The question is of first impression.
