The Appellate Court upheld the judgment of the trial court rendered in accordance with a jury verdict finding the defendant guilty of the crimes of sexual assault in the first degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a), and unlawful restraint in the first degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-95 (a).
