Defendant Raul Fernandez-Alfonso appeals from the district court's pretrial detention order entered under the Bail Reform Act of 1984 (Act), 18 U.S.C. § 3142. Fernandez-Alfonso contends that the thirty day delay between his motion for review of the magistrate's detention order and the district court hearing violated the requirement under section 3145(b) that the district court determine the motion "promptly."
