SWYGERT, Senior Circuit Judge:

This appeal questions a liquidated damages award under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 207, 216(b) and the Portal to Portal Act, 29 U.S.C. § 260. We hold that the district court erred in failing to award liquidated damages for the full period of time claimed by the plaintiffs. Therefore, we reverse but require that prejudgment interest awarded for that period be credited against the new liquidated damages...
